On this tour we will visit Tulum, a city on the Caribbean coast of the Yucatán Peninsula, known for its beaches and well-preserved ruins of an ancient Mayan port city. The express tour is perfect for those who want to learn about Mayan culture, enjoy one of the best views of the Mexican Caribbean, and return to the hotel early enough to enjoy the facilities. Surrounded by a 5-meter-thick wall, this archaeological site has five land access points through which we can enter and contemplate all the ruins of this marvelous place, including the most well-known building in the area, which is also the largest and most prominent construction in Tulum, called &#39;El Castillo&#39;. In addition to its ceremonial functions, it served as a maritime observation point, allowing Mayan sailors to enter the city by sea, avoiding the dangers of the second largest coral reef in the world. Prepare yourself for a unique and transformative experience. On this tour you will be enchanted swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the river. Underground and walking through completely natural caves. You will have the chance to admire the rock formations that tell the geological history of land. Right after the tour of the underground river, we headed towards the “dry route”, where you will get to know the Mayan underworld – Xibalbá – arriving at the hall of peace, where We will witness a spectacular show of images and sound that tells the story of creation and evolution of the universe projected onto the rock formations of cave. Chichén Itzá is one of the largest archaeological centers of the Mayan culture and has been named one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World. We will begin our tour by departing from your hotel reception, from where we will head to the city of Valladolid. This journey will take approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. We will make a stop of about 30 minutes, then we will visit Nool-Ha, where we will stay for approximately 1 hour, with the option of swimming. We will stop for lunch, where we will enjoy the typical food of the region. In the afternoon we will visit the ruins that make up the archaeological zone of Chichén Itzá, passing by El Castillo - a huge pyramid also known as the pyramid of Kukulcán, the Juego de Perola - a ball court where the most traditional and important sporting competitions of the Maya peoples took place, the Platform of the Jaguar and the Eagles - a small platform with four steps. At its base there is a vertical wall with raised panels displaying images that relate to the sun&#39;s course in the sky during the day and its descent into the underworld at night, as the &quot;Sun of the Earth&quot;. A cenote is a natural sinkhole or doline. Especially associated with the Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico, cenotes were used in some sacrificial rituals of the Mayan civilization. In this experience, we will have the opportunity to explore the four types of cenotes in the same day, an oasis in the middle of nature. Volcanic Rafts: On this route we will paddle through beautiful caves and rock formations. The depth is 1 meter, so there is no need for a life jacket. The route is a 530-meter circuit and there are detours where it can be shortened if you prefer. The use of helmets and paddling gloves is mandatory. Nighttime zip lines: In this exciting activity, the explorer can launch themselves and fly among the stars, admire the beauty of the softly illuminated jungle, and feel the adrenaline rush through their body. The route features modern, high-quality equipment. The minimum height required for this tour is 1.40 meters or 40 kg. The maximum weight allowed for this activity is 300 pounds. Lava River: On this route, we will enter an underground paradise swimming with life jackets, while observing the crystal-clear waters, stalactites, and stalagmites. The route is approximately 350 meters long, and the water temperature is 24ºC. Helmets are mandatory. Our tour day ends at 11:30 PM when we return to the hotel. For this experience, we will depart from the hotel reception between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. We will arrive at the park around 9:00 AM, where we will have free time to enjoy all the activities. The park offers four activities, each lasting approximately 45 minutes, and you can participate in them as many times as you like. All activities begin and end at the center of Xplor, where you&#39;ll find restrooms, lockers, restaurants, and relaxation areas. Amphibious Vehicles: Through 2 circuits we can explore the Xplor trails and caves. With luck, we may observe wildlife during the approximately 5 km route. In caves, it is possible to notice that in some places the water level rises, but there is nothing to worry about as these vehicles are prepared to float. Driving is only permitted for those over 18 years of age. Helmet use is mandatory. Rafts: On this route we can paddle through beautiful caves and rock formations. The depth is one meter, so there is no need for a life jacket. The route has two circuits, one of 570 meters, and there are detours where we can shorten the route if we prefer. The use of helmets and paddling gloves is mandatory. Zip lines: This activity covers a total of more than 3.8 km. Here you can glide through the air, enjoying the beauty and feeling the adrenaline rush, as you launch yourself from any of the 14 zip lines. With the chance to finish the tour in one of the three beautiful cenotes. The park features modern, high-quality equipment. The minimum height required for this tour is 1.40 meters or 40 kg. River of Stalactites: On this route, we will enter an underground paradise swimming with life jackets, while observing the crystal-clear waters, stalactites, and stalagmites. The route is approximately 400 meters long, and the water temperature is 24ºC. Helmets are mandatory. We will return to the hotel at 5:00 PM. This activity is not recommended for children under 5 years old.
