Description
Chichén Itzá is one of the greatest archaeological centers of the Mayan culture and named as one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World.
We will start our tour from the reception of your hotel, from where we will depart for the city of Valladolid, this route will take around 2h30, we will make a stop of approximately 30 minutes, then we will know the Cenote Ik Kil , where we will stay for approximately 1 hour, with the option of swimming.
We will stop for lunch, where we will enjoy the typical food of the region.
In the afternoon, we will visit the ruins that make up the Chichén Itzá archeological zone, we will pass by El Castillo - a huge pyramid also known as the Kukulcán pyramid, the Juego de Perola - a playing field where the most traditional and important sports competitions took place of the most peoples, the Platform of the Jaguar and of the Eagles - a small platform with four steps. At its base is a vertical wall with raised panels displaying images that relate to the sun's course in the sky during the day and its descent into the underworld at night, as "Earth's Sun".
We will have time to appreciate the region and soon we will have our transfer back to the hotel.

We will pick you up at the hotel reception. If it is a hotel in downtown Cancun, Playa del Carmen or Tulum, we will inform you of the nearest meeting point.
Our departures will be between 06:50 and 08:25 depending on the hotel where you are staying. We will communicate one day in advance to arrange.
