Experience the magic of Christmas on an unforgettable journey through the enchanting winter landscapes of Austria and Germany. For 9 days, discover the Christmas atmosphere of Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck, and Munich , passing through traditional markets, historic towns, palaces, and castles that seem straight out of a fairy tale.

The experience begins in Vienna, where imperial architecture meets the lights, aromas, and traditions of the famous Christmas markets. The itinerary continues through Oberndorf and Salzburg, Mozart's city and birthplace of the traditional song "Silent Night," before heading to Innsbruck, in the heart of Tyrol, with a visit to the fascinating Swarovski Crystal World.

The trip also includes special moments in Bavaria, such as visits to the impressive Neuschwanstein Castle, Linderhof Palace, the charming Oberammergau region, and the Benedictine Abbey of Ettal. The tour ends in Munich, where you can visit one of Germany's most traditional Christmas markets.

Day 1 - Vienna (Friday):

Arrival at Vienna airport and transfer with our driver to your hotel.
In the evening, meet your fellow travelers for a typically Austrian welcome dinner at the famous Marchfelderhof restaurant, known beyond the country's borders.
In this truly unique setting, you'll soon feel as if Empress Sissi herself were sitting next to you at the table. And, of course, drinks are included too.

Day 2 - Vienna (Saturday):

After breakfast, a scenic city tour offers an excellent overview of Vienna's many points of interest. The aroma of Christmas sweets, mulled wine, and toasted almonds fills the air. The old town and shopping streets are decorated with festive lights, bringing the Christmas spirit to the city.

We will visit the gardens of the historic Belvedere Palace, the former summer residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy.

We will enjoy the magnificent view of the city, immortalized by the artist Giovanni Antonio Canal in his paintings of Vienna.

We will continue along the Ringstrasse, with its magnificent buildings, such as the State Opera, the Museum of Art History and Natural History, the Maria Theresa Monument, the Austrian Parliament, Vienna City Hall, the National Theatre and the Hofburg Palace, the seat of our federal president.

We will stroll through the small, idyllic streets of Vienna's historic center and visit the interior of St. Stephen's Cathedral, the largest in the city. We will also pass by the Ankar Clock and the Jewish Quarter.

Next, we will visit the most famous Christmas market with our guide, located in Rathausplatz. At the entrance to the Vienna Christmas Market, visitors are greeted by a one-meter-high arch adorned with candles. The traditional Christmas market offers Christmas gifts, Christmas tree ornaments, handicrafts, culinary delights, sweets, and hot drinks. The Christmas market also features a multi-story carousel (12 meters high) and a Christmas world in the park with a reindeer train, a nativity scene, a playhouse for children, and an ice skating rink. Would you like to listen to music after enjoying the Christmas atmosphere? In the afternoon, we offer the possibility of attending a classical music concert (not included).

Day 3 - Vienna > Oberndorf > Salzburg (Sunday):

Breakfast and departure for Salzburg.

Before we arrive in Mozart's city, a very special experience awaits us. Who doesn't know the Christmas carol "Silent Night"? Few know that this song originated in Austria. "Silent Night" has been translated into more than 300 languages ​​and dialects, becoming one of the most popular Christmas carols in the world. Its first performance took place on December 24, 1818, at St. Nicholas Church in Oberndorf, near Salzburg.

We visited the church and the Christmas market. Additionally, a special post office offered us the unique opportunity to send letters to our loved ones with special "Silent Night" stamps.

Afterwards, we strolled through the Christmas market and enjoyed some local delicacies.

Day 4 - Salzburg (Monday):

Breakfast and a panoramic tour of the charming historic center, highlighting the house where Mozart was born, the Cathedral, and the Fortress. The tour ends with a visit to a Christmas market.

The historic Salzburg Christmas Market, located in Domplatz and Residenzplatz, is one of the oldest and most beautiful Christmas markets in the world. Its unique location in the heart of Salzburg's UNESCO World Heritage Old Town, its traditional stalls, and its long history make the Salzburg Christmas Market very special.

Day 5 - Salzburg > Swarovski > Innsbury (Tuesday):

Breakfast and transfer to Innsbruck, with a stop at the world of Swarovski crystals.

Day 6 - Innsbruck (Wednesday):

Breakfast and visit to the city of Innsbruck.

The capital of Tyrol, residence of the Habsburgs in the Middle Ages, also hosted the Winter Olympic Games twice. Our visit will take us past the Arch of Triumph, followed by the historic center with its medieval houses, where the famous Golden Roof stands out, as well as the Court Church, where the tomb of Emperor Maximilian I is located, surrounded by the famous giant black copper statues, and the Hofburg Palace.

Continuing with a visit to our very special Christmas market in the old town. Surrounded by the medieval houses of Innsbruck's historic center, you can immerse yourself in what is probably the city's most traditional Christmas market. More than 70 rustic Christmas stalls adorn the festive Christmas tree. The aroma of almonds and kiahln, carefully carved nativity scenes and colorful felt hats: the Christmas market is pure folk art. To the sound of the band playing in the Golden Roof tower, you can experience all facets of the place: strolling through the enchanted alley or savoring mulled wine in the gardens of nearby guests.

Day 7 - Innsbruck > Neuschwanstein > Munich (Thursday):

Breakfast and visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, better known by the nickname "the Mad King". The construction was inspired by the medieval castles of the Teutonic Knights, and its halls allude to myths, fables and legends.

Next, a visit to Linderhof Palace, the smallest of the three palaces built by Ludwig II of Bavaria, who intended to emulate the Palace of Versailles.

In the afternoon, we went to Oberammergau, famous for its Passion of Christ, a tradition that dates back to 1633 and is performed every 10 years.

We also visited the Benedictine Abbey of Ettal, founded by the House of Wittelsbach.

Day 8 - Munich (Friday):

Breakfast and panoramic tour of the Bavarian capital, on the banks of the Isar River, highlighting the Cathedral of Our Lady, an austere late Gothic construction, the Gothic Church of the Holy Spirit, and the Church of St. Michael and St. Nepomucene.

A visit to the famous Marienplatz market. This traditional market, with roots dating back to the 14th century, is considered the most beautiful of Munich's Christmas markets. With the romantic backdrop of the neo-Gothic Marienplatz town hall, this city enchants with its old Bavarian charm and invites you to savor everything with all your senses. You will also find here the largest nativity scene market in Germany.
