Neuschwanstein & Linderhof - Fairytale Castles Tour from Munich

A day trip along the scenic German Alpine Route! We&#39;ll visit Berchtesgaden and the Eagle&#39;s Nest. After a scenic drive along the German Alpine Route through stunning valleys with panoramic views, we&#39;ll arrive in Berchtesgaden. Once we reach the top of Obersalzberg, you&#39;ll have the opportunity to visit the Nazi Documentation Center. A special bus and a tunnel elevator will take you straight through the rock to the Eagle&#39;s Nest, a command post built by the Nazi party for Hitler&#39;s 50th birthday. In case of bad weather conditions, such as ice, snow or fog, the tour will take you to the famous salt mine instead of Berchtesgaden. Notes: Please note that the tour does not include pick-up.

Excursion to Berchtesgaden and the Eagle&#39;s Nest

Leaving Munich at 10:00 am, you&#39;ll start the day with a visit to the Zugspitze. This day trip takes you directly to the foothills of the Alps and its green valleys. Passing the picturesque houses of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the bus takes you up the first few meters of altitude to the valley station of the Zugspitze, Germany&#39;s highest mountain at 9,788 feet (2,962 meters). The new cable car will take you to the mountain&#39;s peak in just a few minutes. After enjoying the breathtaking views of the more than 400 peaks in Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland, there&#39;s still plenty of time to recharge your batteries in the restaurant (vegetarian or halal available). Special summer fun is a free bobsleigh ride or a walk on the eternal ice. The descent is aboard the historic cogwheel train. Notes: Please note that the tour does not include hotel pick-up. Our guide will meet you 20 minutes before at the meeting point.
