Lago Ness, Glen Coe e Highlands
Board your minibus and get ready for a full day of adventure. As you begin your journey into the Highlands, you'll see the incredible Forth Railway Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, you'll have time to grab a coffee or some delicious homemade cakes in the beautiful Highland town of Pitlochry. Enjoy the stunning scenery as you travel through the spectacular wilderness of Cairngorms National Park.
Loch Ness is rightly famous worldwide for its beauty and mystery. Here, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a boat cruise* to spot monsters in the loch's deepest waters, all the way to Urquhart Castle*, where you'll have time to visit this impressive lakeside ruin. If cruises aren't your thing, we'll continue on to the village of Drumnadrochit, home to several tourist attractions and lunch options—the best place to meet Nessie.
Glen Coe is eerily beautiful and rich in history. Standing at the mouth of the valley, you'll feel the past come to life as our guide recounts the horrific massacre of the MacDonald clan.
The route home takes you past the beautiful city of Stirling and its stunning castle. You'll learn more about William Wallace's exploits, dramatized in the film Braveheart, and the turbulent times in which he lived.
Please note this tour may operate in reverse.
