Historic Venice Walking Tour

We'll begin our tour in central Venice, heading to the Ponte del Remedio, where we'll enjoy a stunning view of the famous Bridge of Sighs. Although known as the "Bridge of Lovers," it actually connects the Doge's Palace to the city's former prisons.

We'll continue walking along one of Venice's most winding bridges until we reach Campo Santa Maria Formosa, one of the city's largest squares, from which no fewer than nine alleys (calli) and 11 bridges branch off. Next, we'll pass Campiello degli Orbi, a place that, according to tradition, housed a confraternity of blind people.

Our route will take us to the area of Santi Giovanni e Paolo, where the Venice Hospital currently stands. From there, we'll head to the charming Campiello Remer, which affords us a unique view of the iconic Rialto Bridge.

Finally, we'll pass by the legendary home of Marco Polo, the famous Venetian explorer. It'll be a fascinating itinerary, filled with stories, curiosities, and secrets that reveal the soul of centuries-old Venice.
