Next, we&#39;ll ascend to Pueblito Paisa, a place that preserves the essence of Antioquia&#39;s traditional villages and offers panoramic views of Medellín. We&#39;ll also explore Guatapé and Piedra del Peñol, where we&#39;ll climb over 700 steps to admire the dam and the region&#39;s unique landscapes. Afterwards, we&#39;ll stroll through the colorful streets lined with zócalos (main squares) that make this city so special. Meet in the lobby of your hotel in the El Pablo, Laureles, or Estadio neighborhoods (see note*1). From the moment we depart Medellín, you&#39;ll be immersed in spectacular landscapes of vibrant colors and a rich cultural heritage. On the way, we&#39;ll visit the Republica del Alto del Chocho farm for a short break, where you can purchase local foods such as arepas, cheeses, and traditional drinks like aguapanela. After a drive of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, we&#39;ll pass through the new town of Peñol, a key starting point for learning about the past, present, and future of this beautiful region. We&#39;ll enjoy a boat ride on the waters of the Peñol-Guatapé reservoir to admire the mountains and the luxurious homes that surround it. Later, we&#39;ll visit the majestic Piedra del Peñol, from whose top you&#39;ll enjoy panoramic views of the reservoir. Here, we&#39;ll give you plenty of time to climb to the top of the Piedra del Peñol (Peñol Rock), a climb of over 600 steps (entrance not included). Next, we&#39;ll visit the town of Guatapé, famous for its Zócalos (paintings on the walls of its houses). There, we&#39;ll take a walking tour of its main squares and have free time to shop in the souvenir shops. A traditional lunch is included. In the afternoon, we&#39;ll return to Medellín and be dropped off at your hotel in the El Poblado, Laureles, or Estadio areas (see Note*1). After a hotel reception (see Observation), we&#39;ll set off for a visit to Botero Square, home to sculptures by Colombian artist Fernando Botero, famous for his use of the volumetric style. Next, we&#39;ll take a panoramic tour of Barefoot Park and Desires Park, an urban transformation zone that showcases the city&#39;s development, which was recognized worldwide by winning the most important urban planning award: the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize, considered the Nobel Prize of cities. The local culture, known as paisa, is a global benchmark for Colombia. During the visit to Pueblito Paisa, we&#39;ll explore the region&#39;s ancient architecture and customs. Throughout the tour, we&#39;ll experience contemporary culture and the city&#39;s vibrant hustle and bustle through public transportation, including the metro and the Metrocable (cable subway), a new cable car system that connects to a working-class neighborhood. Later, we&#39;ll arrive at the city of San Cristóbal, the entrance to the Western Vehicular Tunnel, the longest in Latin America at 4.6 km long. As we depart, we&#39;ll enjoy a beautiful landscape of green mountains and pastures. We&#39;ll stop at the Western Suspension Bridge over the Cauca River, an engineering feat inaugurated in 1895. At the time, it was the longest bridge on the continent and is considered a historical heritage site due to its significant impact on the region&#39;s economic development. Next, we&#39;ll arrive in Santa Fe de Antioquia, a beautiful colonial city with an architectural heritage dating back to the 17th century. We will walk through the Aburrá Valley, promoting the practice and exchange of cultures and languages: Spanish, English, Portuguese, Italian, German, Mandarin, Arabic, etc. We will start at San Ignacio Park, in front of the auditorium of the University of Antioquia, near the Ayacucho tram line, a street that represents the economic and cultural development of Medellín. Then we will walk until we catch the bus to the neighborhood “El Faro”, from where we will start walking until we reach Cerro Pan de Azúcar, today called Jardín, a rock formation located in the center of the city. We will see archaeological sites of the Aburraes indigenous people that are over 250 years old. Cerro or Morro Pan de Azúcar has several entrances and exits, through several neighborhoods, covering a total of 105 hectares. It is the highest of the 8 emblematic hills of the Aburrá Valley and offers a 180° view, full of contrasts between the city and the countryside planted with all types of vegetables; coffee, cocoa, tobacco and fruits. It is located in the center-east (commune nº 8), at a base height of 1,698 meters above sea level, and at a top height of 2,138 meters above sea level. The nose has that magical ancestral essence. Climbing the green and rocky hill, we can breathe fresh air, stroll among nature and enjoy the fauna and flora, and see the city from several viewpoints. We will also see archaeological sites of the Aburraes indigenous people, who built their crops, their homes and one of the three royal roads made of white stone that is over 200 years old and leads to the Magdalena River, through which all colonization penetrated, in a rocky ecosystem for Latin America. Then we will go down another path that connects with the Sol de Oriente neighborhood, until we reach Uva de La Libertad, El Pinal neighborhood, to end at line M; El Pinal metro station

We will take an unforgettable trip to Santa Fe de Antioquia, located just two hours from Medellín, in a region with a mild and pleasant climate. Upon arriving in the city—founded in 1541 on the banks of the Cauca River and the first capital of the Antioquia department in 1584—we will be enchanted by its rich colonial heritage. We will visit the iconic Puente del Occidente, one of the oldest and longest suspension bridges in Latin America, which majestically spans the Cauca River. Day trip to Medellín

We&#39;ll depart from the hotel. On the way, we&#39;ll make a brief stop for a typical regional breakfast. Continuing on, we&#39;ll pass through the eastern towns of Santuario, Cocorná, and San Luis. At approximately 9:30 AM, we&#39;ll arrive at Hacienda Nápoles. We&#39;ll have access to the park and the attractions included in the Adventure Passport*. At 3:00 PM, we&#39;ll begin our return to Medellín. We&#39;ll continue toward Medellín and arrive around 8:00 PM. Notes: The Hacienda Nápoles theme park offers the following attractions within its free pass, known as the Adventure Passport: hippo park, wildlife sanctuary, Jurassic Park, African Museum, airstrip, house museum, butterfly house, horse stables, ecological trail, and Biolandia. After this experience, we will take a break for lunch and enjoy the typical local cuisine in a welcoming setting on the banks of the reservoir. In the afternoon, we will visit the charming town of Guatapé, famous for its colorful facades and zócalos — decorative reliefs on the walls depicting scenes of daily life and elements of local culture.
