Learn about raptors, their behaviour, and rehabilitation in native bushland
Visit Capes Raptor Centre, located a five-minute drive from Margaret River town centre, and see more than 50 birds of prey.
Watch the twice-daily Bird of Prey Flight Display and learn about raptors’ natural behaviors, hunting strategies, and senses. You’ll also have the chance to take a photo beside an owl.
Capes Raptor Centre is a care and rehabilitation facility for birds of prey in Western Australia.
It provides a permanent home for eagles, hawks, falcons, owls, and other raptors that cannot return to the wild. The centre also rehabilitates birds and releases them back into their natural habitats when possible.
Before or after the flight display, walk the 1 km Bird of Prey Trail through native bushland and see resident diurnal and nocturnal birds of prey in their aviaries.
