Departing Auckland on the 1:00 PM ferry from central Auckland, you'll be met at Waiheke Wharf. The tour begins with a drive along the scenic northern route, taking in spectacular views of the Hauraki Gulf and the Coromandel Peninsula beyond.
The first stop is for a tasting and a casual lunch at a local vineyard. Weather permitting, after lunch, head to Onetangi, a 1.87-kilometer-long north-facing beach with beautiful, ancient Pohutukawa trees lining the shore. For many years, it was the site of the Onetangi Beach Races. Depart Onetangi for the second vineyard for wine tasting.
The final stop is at a picturesque vineyard overlooking the Hauraki Gulf. Enjoy a wine tasting and enjoy the view. If you wish, you can stay for dinner (at your own expense) and return to the ferry when you're ready, or your guide will return you to Waiheke Wharf in time for the 6:00 PM ferry back to Auckland.
