Board your transport in central Amsterdam and prepare for the scenic journey from the city to the Dutch countryside. Next, continue to Volendam and Marken, admiring a picturesque scene of fishing boats and the occasional local wearing traditional Dutch clothing. In addition to approximately 45-minute stops in each town, you'll visit a nearby cheese farm for a demonstration and a sample of their dairy production. A visit to a local shoemaker to admire the art of carving and painting the wooden clogs for which the Netherlands is known is also a memorable part of the trip. After taking plenty of photos, your 5.5-hour tour concludes with a return bus ride to central Amsterdam.
