You'll see the resting place of classical musician Chopin and visit the tomb of Gertrude Stein, a famous American writer who financed and supported artists like Picasso and writers like Hemingway.

In addition to international icons, we'll visit some of France's most celebrated artists and writers. At Géricault's tomb, you'll see a reproduction of his famous painting "The Raft of the Medusa," currently on display at the Louvre, and hear the harrowing story that inspired his masterpiece.

We'll explore the works and philosophies of Honoré de Balzac and Marcel Proust, discuss Molière's quirky humor, and even visit the tomb of George-Eugène Haussmann, the architect responsible for the modern-day appearance of Paris. We'll also pay tribute to the beloved French singer Edith Piaf, whose difficult life story you won't soon forget.

- This service terminates at the Porte du Repos exit of the cemetery (the nearest metro station is Philippe Auguste, line 2).

- All guests are responsible for being at the meeting point 20 minutes before departure. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated, and missed tours or tickets cannot be refunded.

- Our guides will be holding a sign at the meeting point for easy recognition.

- This tour involves a considerable amount of walking and steps; comfortable shoes are recommended.

- We regret that we cannot accommodate guests in wheelchairs or with disabilities who require special assistance. We also cannot accommodate strollers on our group tours.

- Photography is allowed throughout the tour.
