Harlem and Gospel Mass

On this tour, you will discover the authentic neighborhood of Harlem, the birthplace of numerous artists and a very important part of the history of New York City.

1. Hotel pick-up and tour start



The boarding point is at the entrance of the departure hotel: The Manhattan at Times Square. We'll begin the guided tour heading north on Park Avenue to make our first stop at Mayor Gracie Mansion.



2. We arrived in Harlem



We will continue along Park Avenue until we enter Harlem at 96th Street. Once there, we will take 115th Street to the Apollo Theater, where we will make our next stop to enjoy African-American art.



3. Architecture in Sugar Hill



We continue to the Sugar Hill neighborhood, home to the City College of New York and the Hamilton Grange House. We'll stop for a photo opportunity to take photos of the streets and architecture in one of Harlem's neighborhoods.



4. A little Gospel for the soul



We continue towards the Igreja Batista Capela do Arquivo Maior, where you can enjoy and appreciate the choirs of an evangelical mass. This religious music has been a heritage and custom of the African-American race. We conclude this tour in an atmosphere of gratitude, harmony, and spirituality, and return to Manhattan.
