Visit to the Crypt of the Sé Cathedral
Experience a journey into the past in the underground chapel built in Gothic style, 7 meters below the altar of the Cathedral. The Crypt holds the mortal remains of bishops of São Paulo and historical figures such as Chief Tibiriçá. With more than a century of existence, the site houses an exhibition on the Holy Shroud of Turin and sculptures in Carrara marble, making this tour an unparalleled historical and spiritual experience.
Meeting point: left side of the Crypt, in front of the “TOUR” sign. Present your voucher at the Cathedral's office to exchange it for your tour wristband.
The Metropolitan Cathedral of São Paulo wishes you a pleasant visit!
