Departing Puerto Natales, we'll travel to Torres del Paine National Park, home to beautiful valleys, glaciers, lakes, and rivers. Striking pinnacles cut through the metallic blue sky, the park's central features. Extremely popular with hikers, the trails lead through stunning and inspiring landscapes in Torres del Paine.
We'll begin with a visit to Milodon Cave, a remarkable natural monument where a giant sloth was discovered in 1896. A life-size replica of the prehistoric creature, which resembles a large bear, stands at the entrance. Several caves are accessible, such as the Silla del Diablo rock formation, known as Devil's Chair in Spanish. Next, we'll reach Castle Hill, where we'll stop at a beautiful village before entering the park, traveling along Lake Sarmiento with its stunning natural beauty. We'll then continue along Lake Nordenskjold, Salto Grande, and Lake Grey. We'll stop at Hosteria Lago Grey for lunch and visit the Grey Glacier that feeds the lake. We'll return to Puerto Natales via Amarg Lagoon, along a road with excellent views of Torres del Paine (weather permitting). It's the perfect end to a pleasant day exploring this enchanting Chilean icon.
