Pizza and Gelato Cooking Class in Florence

We'll learn how to prepare two of Italy's most beloved delicacies: traditional pizza and authentic gelato. During a three-hour hands-on class in central Florence, we'll have the opportunity to get our hands dirty—literally—and discover the secrets behind these classic recipes.

We'll begin by meeting our chef, who will give a brief introduction to the origins of pizza and gelato. Then, we'll dive into pizza preparation: we'll learn how to make a light, elastic dough, prepare a flavorful and balanced tomato sauce, and also how to roll out and assemble the pizza with our own hands before baking. Each of us will create our own pizza from scratch—and it's sure to be one of the best we've ever tasted!

Next, we'll learn how to make the famous Italian gelato. We'll discover the basic ingredients, how to choose the best products, and how to use heating, cooling, and natural coloring techniques. All of this in a practical and accessible way, so we can replicate it at home and surprise our friends.

At the end of the experience, we'll enjoy the pizzas and gelato we prepared together. We'll also receive a certificate of participation—and we'll return home with new skills and delicious memories of this Italian gastronomic experience.
