Skip-the-line guided tour of the Duomo Cathedral
Located in the heart of the city, the cathedral is the largest in Florence, the second largest in Italy, and the fourth largest in the world. The tour includes access to the cathedral's interior, where the guide will introduce you to key architectural and artistic details, such as the frescoes in the dome and the works preserved on the altar.
Construction began in 1296, designed by Arnolfo di Cambio, and was completed in 1434 with the dome designed by Filippo Brunelleschi, one of the greatest innovations in Renaissance architecture. The tour does not include a climb to the dome, but it offers an immersion into the monument's history and cultural significance.
The meeting point is about a 10-minute walk from Firenze SMN station, in a pedestrian-friendly area. In the same square, you'll also find Giotto's Campanile, the Baptistery of St. John, and the Opera del Duomo Museum, which can be visited separately.
Ideal for those who want to better understand the history of Florence and its architecture, without waiting in line and with expert guidance.
