Excursion to the Devil&#39;s Well, Torrinha Cave and Pai Inácio Hill.

Lencois

Transfer to the base of the Fumaça Waterfall (approx. 75 km – about 1 hour and 15 minutes by car). The adventure continues with an engaging hike: a total of 12 km (round trip), including an initial uphill section of approximately 2 km, followed by 4 km of flatter terrain — a route that takes an average of 2 hours. The return is via the same trail. Finally, enjoy a refreshing swim in the Fumaça River, perfect for relaxing after the hike. Cachoeira da Fumaça – with an impressive 380-meter drop, it is the highest waterfall in Brazil. Its name comes from a unique phenomenon: the wind disperses the water during the fall, causing it to rise and spread in the air, creating a delicate &quot;cloud&quot; of droplets that resembles smoke. A true spectacle of nature, unforgettable for those who visit.

We drove to our first stop, located approximately 25 minutes from Lençóis. We began with a light walk along the banks of the Mucugezinho River, which led us to the impressive Poço do Diabo waterfall. On site, it is possible to enjoy a refreshing swim in a deep natural pool, surrounded by beautiful rock formations and an exuberant waterfall. Although it appears to be crystal clear, the water has a darker color due to its natural acidity, with low visibility, a characteristic phenomenon of the region. After the visit, we returned to the vehicle and drove approximately 50 km to the Torrinha Cave, located in the Iraquara region, one of the main speleological centers in Brazil. The cave impresses with its diversity and grandeur, featuring spacious chambers and rare formations such as speleothems and delicate aragonite flowers, considered true works of natural art. After visiting the cave, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant (not included). Next, we drove for approximately 50 minutes to the base of Morro do Pai Inácio, one of the most iconic landmarks of Chapada Diamantina. From there, we took an easy hike (about 1.2 km round trip) to the top, where we were rewarded with a 360° panoramic view, revealing the characteristic formations of the region, with its flat hills and breathtaking landscapes. We concluded the tour with a return trip to Lençóis, approximately a 40-minute drive away. Tour Highlights Devil&#39;s Well: a waterfall with a deep natural pool and impressive rock formations. Torrinha Cave: one of the richest speleological collections in Brazil, with rare formations. Morro do Pai Inácio (1,240m): one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Chapada Diamantina.
