Osaka: Kendo Samurai Training Experience

Learn the basics of kendo, a Japanese martial art with more than 400 years of history rooted in samurai swordsmanship. Visit a kendo dojo and change into a kendo uniform (kendogi and hakama). You’ll also have a photo session wearing the traditional outfit. During the experience, learn about the history of kendo, along with its etiquette, manners, and discipline. Under the guidance of a kendo practitioner, learn basic techniques using a bamboo sword. Afterward, put on a kendo protective suit and practice basic strikes and traditional techniques. Conclude the experience with a friendly kendo match against other participants or a sparring session with a kendo practitioner.
