Monserrate: Funicular or Cable Car Roundtrip

A site of pilgrimage for centuries, the steep incline and 1.5-mile hike to the mountaintop church-sanctuary offers up incredible views over Bogotá. But, you don't have to be religious – or a hiker – to make the most of this Monserrate ticket. Take the Monserrate funicular to the top to experience an unusual train ride, or race to the top inside a cable car. Make sure to visit the monastery and see El Señor Caído (The Fallen Lord) or to try and catch the sunset from the mountaintop.
