Mini Uyuni Experience - Lake Salinas

ITINERARY

We start picking you up from your hotel in the city center.

Our first visit will be to the Mirador de los Volcanes (Volcanoes Viewpoint) in the Chiguata district, which takes about 45 minutes to reach. From there, we'll be able to observe our iconic volcanoes and take photos. Later, we'll arrive in the town of Chiguata and visit the main square, where we'll find its traditional Church of the Holy Spirit, and later enjoy a traditional local breakfast.

Afterwards, we will continue on our way, on a journey of approximately 1 hour. We will make a stop at Alto Simbral (4200 masl) where we can observe local plants such as Queñua, Yareta, Tola, etc.

Continuing our journey, we'll arrive at Salinas Lagoon, where we'll spend between 1 hour and 1 hour and 30 minutes, making various stops to observe flamingos, parihuanas, and water mirrors (January to March), and spot vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas (year-round). In the dry season (April to December), we'll visit the salt extraction centers, where imagination is essential for taking spectacular photos.

Afterwards we will go to the Lojen Mini Volcano and the Lojen Thermal Baths to enjoy a relaxing bath.

Finally, we will return to Chiguata for lunch and then begin our return to the city of Arequipa.

Arrive in the city and we'll drop you off near Plaza de Armas.
