Phillip Island and Moonlight Sanctuary

Phillip Island - home to one of Australia's largest penguin colonies. More than 30,000 little penguins live along its shores, and every night the penguins emerge from the waves and walk along the beach to their burrows. Our new Phillip Island Penguin Parade afternoon tour is an ideal way to see this natural phenomenon if you're short on time. Your tour guide will pick you up directly from your hotel. Travel with a maximum of 11 people so you can relax, enjoy personalized service, and have time to fully appreciate the trip.

Crossing the bridge from the mainland to the island, you're immediately struck by pristine beaches, a vast bay, and a dramatic coastline. Cross the island to the Nobbies. Stroll along the boardwalk to feel the waves crashing along this rugged coastline, see the blowhole, and be mesmerized by the breathtaking views. You might even spot your first penguin nests. From here, the famous penguin parade begins. At dusk, they swim to shore and walk along the beach back to their homes in the sand dunes of Summerland Beach. This is an experience you'll never forget. Return to your Melbourne hotel at the end of your eventful day.

It is recommended to wear warm, waterproof clothing in all seasons.

This tour does not run on December 25th and 31st (English) and on all public holidays for foreign language tours.

During summer / daylight saving time (1st weekend of October - 1st weekend of April): Pick up at last hotel around 1400 / Return between 2300 and 2330

In winter (all other times of the year) Pick up at the last hotel around 1300
