Full-Day Tour to Avila and Segovia

Check in at our office in central Madrid fifteen minutes before your tour departs. Board one of our air-conditioned buses and head to Ávila with a local guide.

Our first stop will be the city of Ávila, one of the best-preserved fortified cities in Spain. Follow your guide on a guided tour of the historic center to discover this city's impressive history. See Romanesque churches, Gothic palaces, and a fortified cathedral from the Middle Ages. Visit Ávila's walls and imagine the stories they have seen over the centuries. Marvel at the fortifications and towers, which earned the city UNESCO World Heritage status.

We'll continue our tour toward Segovia. Upon arrival, we'll split into two groups. If you chose the Segovia-on-your-own option, you'll have approximately three hours of free time to explore the city on your own and return to Madrid with us. The rest of the group will head to the restaurant. Those who opt for a gourmet menu will enjoy a typical local menu featuring roast suckling pig that will leave you speechless; others will enjoy a tapa and a complimentary drink.

After lunch, those who opted for the monuments tour will meet back with their guide to begin their visit to Segovia. Stroll through the city's old Jewish quarter, visit the exterior of the Cathedral, and head towards the Alcázar of Segovia. At the agreed time, meet up with the rest of the group to return to Madrid if you chose the self-drive option.
