Grand City Tour with Parliament

We began the tour at the Cityrama downtown office. First, we took the Margaret Bridge and headed toward Buda. We stopped in the Castle District and during a short walk, we pointed out the area's main attractions, around the Royal Palace.

Next, we cross the Elizabeth Bridge into Pest and see the famous Central Market Hall, followed by Europe's largest Synagogue and City Park. We pass Europe's largest thermal spa and the Budapest Zoo, then stop at Heroes' Square (with statues of Hungary's most famous kings and dukes). Next, we take Andrássy Avenue into central Pest, passing the Opera House and St. Stephen's Basilica. Afterward, we hop off the bus again and visit the interior of the impressive neo-Gothic Parliament House (guided tour included). During the tour, we offer a brief overview of the last 1,000 years of Hungarian history.
