Panamanian dinner and folklore show

Panama has long been a melting pot of diverse cultures. Originally, indigenous groups created their acoustic instruments using plant parts and shells from various animals, and then the Spanish conquistadors brought their Old World influences. The show is entirely allegorical, with acoustic music and traditional musicians. While dancing, a group of dancers performs, the women wearing the unique 'Pollera,' a handmade cotton dress, complemented by precious jewelry for the body and head. The men's traditional attire is simple. However, their hats are finely handcrafted by excellent artisans who spend weeks on a single piece. Their cotton shirts have gold or pearl backgrounds.
