Tour of Ancient Delos

The visit to the ancient island of Delos begins with the team picking us up at around 9:15am during our stay and dropping us off at the ancient port of Mykonos, where we will meet the tour guide to begin our trip.

In approximately 40 minutes we will arrive at the legendary island and at this point we will disembark for a 2 hour and 15 minute visit to this beautiful "UNESCO world heritage" landmark.

Once on the island, our guide will take us throughout the ancient city with its markets, public squares, the Temple of Apollo, the sanctuary of Artemis, the old city and the amphitheater and we will walk along the famous Lion Street.

We will also visit the Delos museum where we will admire archaic, classical, Hellenistic and Roman sculptures, and a collection of vases from all periods.

Research into ancient stones found at the site indicates that Delos has been inhabited since the third millennium BC

At the end of the tour, before boarding to return to Mykonos, we will have some free time to take photos at the site before departing at 1:30 pm.

The pick-up time is an estimate and depends on the place of stay. The exact time will be confirmed after the activity is confirmed.

The Delos Archaeological Site will remain closed on May 1st (national holiday).
