Christ the Redeemer Trail (Parque Lage - Corcovado)

Embark on a charming trail through the Tijuca Forest and visit Christ the Redeemer, which stands 710 meters above sea level and is one of the New 7 Wonders of the Modern World and also a World Heritage Site. If you wish to descend by train (or van), there will be a fee. On this trail, of medium to difficult difficulty, lasting approximately 2.5 hours, climb 3,800 meters through the largest reforested urban forest in the world. Stop to take photos, enjoy the nature and birdsong, and also to catch your breath, of course. Stop for photos at the Postcard Viewpoint. On the way back from Christ the Redeemer, stop at Paineiras for souvenirs in the shop. NOTE 1: Reservations for up to 3 people.
