Full Day | Adventure to Vinicunca
An adventure at the foot of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain in Cusco. A wonderful day that blends adrenaline and vibrant culture along the route. The Peruvian Andes are a great option for hiking and offer unforgettable views.
Our day begins at 4:30 am and we drive to the village of Cusipata for breakfast, then return along the road to Chillihuani, which is the starting point for the 3-hour mini-hike.
The first part of the hike will take 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the famous "Rainbow Mountain," which enchants with its beauty and colors that contrast with the snow-capped mountains. Here you will have approximately 1 hour to rest and relax, taking photos. After that, we return to the car and after another 1 hour of travel, we arrive in Cusipata for lunch. In the afternoon, we return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:30 PM at the main square, Plaza de San Francisco.

The minimum altitude on the trail will be 4,200 meters and the maximum altitude will be 5,100 meters above sea level. Therefore, it is mandatory to acclimatize for at least 2 days in Cusco or at similar altitudes.
The route includes a hike of at least 3 hours, requiring the use of appropriate hiking equipment.
