Visit Pompeii

We will explore one of the best-known archaeological sites in the world, accompanied by one of Pompeii's best archaeologists and a local guide.

Your visit will begin with some general insights and little anecdotes about the city, while you will admire the magnificent monuments and buildings that line the streets. But that's not all, you will also have the opportunity to observe curious newer additions, elements such as decorations and graffiti, a touch of contemporary art that makes up the city's distinctive appearance. You will arrive at Forum Square, with its impressive Basilica and markets. The tour will continue through the streets built by the ancient Romans, great masters capable of designing streets that are still passable today. Old mansions and theaters can also be visited if you are interested in seeing how people of the past lived and how they spent their free time. Also included is entry to Lupanar, the pleasure house that was the first built in the world.

The tour is not suitable for wheelchair users. It is possible to continue the visit independently after finishing the tour with the guide. It is recommended that participants arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time. In case of delay, the guide may wait just a few minutes from the scheduled departure time. The tour is also available in case of rain. If emergency weather conditions occur, the tour may be cancelled. Reservations for the tour must be made in advance of the day of the visit. Only small dogs weighing up to 10 kg are allowed. However, they must be on a leash and kept within the premises. If you arrive by car, you can park near the Porta Marina Superiore entrance (private parking). If you want to get to the meeting point by train, you must take the Circumvesuviana Line and get off at the Pompeia Scavi - Villa dei Misteri stop. The tour involves a distance of about 1.5 km.
