Pompeii and Vesuvius Tour from Naples

We will take the opportunity to visit, in just one day, two of the most impressive places in the Campania region: the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii and the majestic volcano Vesuvius — known as the "Great Giant," responsible for the destruction of the city in 79 AD.

We'll begin by exploring Pompeii's main archaeological sites, such as the baths, the Lupanare frescoes, the Macellum, and the Basilica. If certain areas are undergoing maintenance or restoration, the guide will take us to other equally interesting buildings.

We'll then climb the slopes of Mount Vesuvius and take a break for lunch at a local restaurant with panoramic views, where we'll enjoy a delicious pizza.

After lunch, we'll drive to an altitude of 1,000 meters. From there, we'll hike to the top of the volcano to admire the crater. At the summit, we can follow a specialized guide from the National Park or explore on our own. From the top, we'll have a privileged view of Mount Somma (1,133 meters) and the cone of Vesuvius (1,281 meters), separated by the so-called Valley of the Giant.
