Embark on an unforgettable journey to the heart of the San Juan Mountains, crossing the majestic Quebrada de Las Burras. Our first stop is the imposing Cerro Alcázar, a natural jewel that amazes with its capricious shapes and intense colors.
We'll continue to Barreal, a charming mountainous landscape, where we'll explore the vastness of the El Leoncito Pampa and the untouched beauty of El Leoncito National Park. Two of the Cuyo region's most important astronomical centers are located there: the CASLEO Observatory, part of CONICET (National Institute of Statistics and Census), and the CESCO Observatory, part of the National University of San Juan.
The tour culminates in the town of Calingasta, where its historic center and the moving Christ of Mercy await us, offering breathtaking panoramic views. I return to San Juan in the afternoon, my heart full of unforgettable landscapes and experiences.
