Over two days, you'll traverse vast, shimmering salt flats, visit the famous Train Cemetery, and marvel at the unique landscapes of southern Bolivia. This tour offers a captivating exploration of the surreal and otherworldly Salar de Uyuni.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Puno - La Paz - Uyuni
Pick up at your hotel in Puno and transfer to the Puno terminal.
Transfer by tourist bus from Puno - La Paz (arrival at 2:00 pm).
Free afternoon to visit the city of La Paz and El Alto.
Transfer by tourist bus from La Paz - Uyuni.
Second day: Uyuni - Salar de Uyuni
We will first start with the pick-up at the bus terminal in the city of Uyuni.
Transfer to our cafeteria, where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast.
Departure from the cafeteria to start the tour (10:30 am).
The first point of visit will be the train and mattress cemetery where we can buy some souvenirs made of salt.
Next, we'll visit the salt eyes, the Dakar monument, and the first salt hotel, where we'll have lunch.
After lunch, we will visit Incahuasi Island, where we can admire the enormous cacti and a 360º view of the Salar de Uyuni.
Next, we'll head to the Uyuni esplanade, where we'll have free time to take perspective photos.
Finally we will return to the city of Uyuni, approximate arrival time 6:00 pm.
