ITINERARY

DAY 1: Paracas/Ballestas Islands and Pisco Tasting

Pick up at our meeting point.

Ballestas Islands Boat Tour: We arrive at the port of Chaco and immediately prepare for a tour of the Ballestas Islands. We'll visit the offshore Ballestas Islands on modern boats. First, we'll visit the famous and imposing chandelier, the enormous hieroglyph located on the dunes overlooking the Pacific Ocean. On the Ballestas Islands, we'll observe an abundance of marine wildlife, such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, guano birds (foot baths, boobies, and gulls in their natural habitat). We'll also visit La Maternidad Beach, where sea lions are born. Transfer to Ica: We board a tourist vehicle and head to Ica.

Vineyard visit (wines and piscos) in Ica: We'll arrive at a well-known vineyard in Ica, where we'll take a guided tour to learn about the wine and pisco production and distillation process. We'll also learn the correct way to drink (taste) wines, piscos, and macerated wines.

Lunch (not included)

Transfer to the hotel in Huacachina and free afternoon: at the appropriate time you will be transferred to your chosen hotel and have the afternoon free.

DAY 2: Huacachina Oasis

Breakfast at the hotel.

On a city tour of Ica, we'll visit the most important streets of Ica and its surroundings, including the famous Luren Church, its Cathedral, and the Church of San Francisco.

Huacachina Tour: We'll arrive at Huacachina Lagoon, also known as the Oasis of America, located in the Ica desert. Here we'll discover this incredible lagoon surrounded by palm trees in the middle of the desert, which hides interesting legends that our guide will share with us.

Tour and Buggy Ride and Sanboarding: In the Huacachina Desert, we'll take a buggy ride, also known as a tubular, and sanboarding, sliding on a board down the dunes of the Huacachina Desert. We'll have time to enjoy the fun and take spectacular photos to remember.

We arrived in Lima, at the same starting point, between 9:30 pm and 10:30 pm, approximately.

- Reservations can be made up to the day before departure.

- The order of excursions may vary depending on weather conditions, river levels, arrival or departure times, or any other relevant reason. Sometimes the sea is too rough to visit the Ballestas Islands by boat. If a weather forecast predicts a storm, we may cancel the Ballestas Islands boat tour for safety reasons. In this case, you will receive a refund.

- The buggy and sandboarding tour lasts 45 minutes. The buggy is driven by a professional driver only. For stand-up sandboarding, professional boards can be rented in Huacachina for an additional fee.
