Early morning, around 6:30 a.m., departure and travel to Çanakkale for the afternoon tour of Gallipoli. Visit the Dardanelles and lunch in Eceabat.
After lunch, visit Gallipoli, famous battlefield, Anzac Cove, War Cemeteries (Beach Cemetery, Quinn's Post, The Nek) and the Anzac Memorials (Lone Pine - Australian Memorial, Conk Bayiri - New Zealand Memorial, Hellespont - English Memorial) of the naval battle (18 March 1915) during the First World War.
Itinerary:
6:00 AM - 6:45 AM Pick-up from city center hotels
06:45 Departure for a long day trip to Gallipoli.
08:30 Breakfast stop
09:00 Continuation to Gallipoli.
12:00 Arrival in Eceabat and lunch overlooking the Dardanelles
12:45 After lunch, departure for an afternoon tour of Gallipoli
The objective of the landing forces during the Gallipoli Campaign was, after having captured the high ground of the Peninsula, to approach the Straits from the rear and gain control of the castles and batteries on both banks of the Dardanelles.
We begin our tour at the Straits, the narrowest point of the Dardanelles. After a quick visit to experience the essence of the Straits, we continue our tour to visit the landing beaches.
