Enjoy a short break in the city for lunch (own expense) before continuing your journey to Victoria's most famous island.

Phillip Island is home to one of Australia's largest penguin colonies. More than 30,000 little penguins live along its shores, and every night, the penguins emerge from the waves and walk along the beach to their burrows. At Nobbies, stroll along the boardwalk to feel the waves crashing along this rugged coastline, see the blowhole, and be mesmerized by the stunning views. You might even spot your first penguin nests. From here, the famous penguin parade begins. At dusk, they swim to shore and walk along the beach back to their homes in the sand dunes of Summerland Beach. It's an experience you'll never forget. Return to your Melbourne hotel at the end of your eventful day.
