Pack transfer in/out + city tour Montevideo + full day trip to Colonia

CITY TOUR MONTEVIDEO:

Guided tour of Montevideo in a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus, with photo stops at the most important historical sites. We'll visit Plaza Independencia, home to the citadel gate, the Solis Theater, the Executive Tower, the Salvo Palace, and the monument to Uruguayan hero Jose Gervasio Artigas. We'll walk along part of the main avenue (18 de Julio) to the Legislative Palace. We'll visit the Agricultural Market, housed in a historic building and offering a wide variety of local products. The next stop on the tour is Jose Battle and Ordonez Park, where we'll see the Monument to La Carreta, before continuing along Montevideo's waterfront from Pocitos to Carrasco. At the end of the tour, we'll return to our hotels.

FULL DAY TOUR TO COLONIA:

Colonia do Sacramento (declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Colonia was founded by the Portuguese Empire over 300 years ago and was a source of discord between Portugal and Spain until 1777, when the Treaty of San Ildefonso left Colonia in the hands of the Kingdom of Spain. We will visit the Street of Sighs, the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, the Bastion of San Pedro, Polvorín, the Lighthouse, the Spanish and Portuguese Museums, the Tile Museum, etc. (tickets not included).

We'll also stroll along Rambla Costanera, Real de San Carlos with its ancient Bullring, San Benito Church, and the Port. Return to the city center and enjoy free time to stroll through the Historic District and its picturesque streets. Lunch (optional). Return to the hotel at the agreed time.

The package also includes arrival and departure transfers from Montevideo airport to the city of Montevideo.

The tour to Cologne only operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The Montevideo city tour is at 1:30 PM or 8:00 AM every day.
