Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral with transfer included

Meet in the hotel lobby and head towards the northern exit of the city, passing through residential areas and then along Avenida Panamericana Norte. Here, the urban landscape blends with the greenery of the Sabana Mountains, the name given to the large Andean valley located in the eastern mountain range, ideal for growing vegetables, corn, and especially roses for export. After passing through the town of Chía, we'll arrive at the village of Zipaquirá, a small Andean town home to the Salt Cathedral. With an official guide, you'll tour this architectural marvel, visiting its 14 stations until you reach the main altar, where you can appreciate its splendor. This work is considered a national heritage site of Colombia due to its unique design. Visit a local restaurant for a typical regional lunch of meat and salted potatoes (included with the corresponding optional excursion). In the afternoon, return to your hotel in Bogotá.

This is a shared tour. Hotel pickup is available between 7:00 and 8:30 AM. Please note that some city hotels are not included in our pickup itinerary.
