Check in at our office in central Madrid fifteen minutes before your tour departs. Board one of our air-conditioned buses and head to Ávila with a local guide.
Our first stop will be the city of Ávila, one of the best-preserved fortified cities in Spain. Follow your guide on a guided tour of the old town to discover this city's impressive history. See Romanesque churches, Gothic palaces, and a fortified cathedral from the Middle Ages. Visit the walls of Ávila and imagine the stories they have seen over the centuries. Marvel at the fortifications and towers, which earned the city UNESCO World Heritage status.
The tour continues to Segovia. If you've chosen to include the option in your reservation, it's time to enjoy a wonderful lunch menu. Those who haven't included the option will have 1.5 hours for lunch. Take advantage of this time and visit the most important Roman structure on the Peninsula, the Aqueduct of Segovia!
Meet your guide in front of the cathedral for an exterior tour. Stroll through the city's old Jewish quarter toward the Alcazar of Segovia. Enjoy a guided tour of the site and marvel at this spectacular fortification. Did you know that its architecture inspired Walt Disney for one of his films? Can you tell us which one?
