Christ the Redeemer Trail (Parque Lage - Corcovado)

Embark on a charming trail through the Tijuca Forest and visit Christ the Redeemer, which stands 710 meters above sea level and is one of the New 7 Wonders of the Modern World and a World Heritage Site. If you wish to descend by train (or van), there will be a fee. This trail, of medium to difficult difficulty, takes approximately 2.5 hours, climbing 3,800 meters through the largest reforested urban forest in the world. Stop to take photos, appreciate nature and birdsong, and of course, catch your breath. Stop for photos at the Cartão Postal viewpoint. On the way back from Christ the Redeemer, stop at Paineiras for those who want to buy souvenirs at the shop. NOTE 1: Reservations for up to 3 people. NOTE 2: Transportation, parking, tickets, and meals are not included in the package and must be paid separately by tourists. NOTE 3: We recommend that tourists call an Uber or a taxi. NOTE 4: We can rent a car with a driver (also paid for by the tourists), provided we notify you in advance.
