Brazilian Driver Guide → Normandy - Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville

Honfleur, a small town located on the Seine estuary, once attracted many famous painters. Monet, Turner, and Vuillard all passed through here. Today, it continues to draw crowds for its history, its narrow streets, its old port, and its charm. It was one of the few cities in Normandy spared the destruction of World War II.

Thus, the historic center is fully preserved. Its slate buildings, in typical Norman style, now house various shops and art galleries, which are open all day.

Then we'll head towards Deauville, a seaside resort renowned for its casino, palaces, architectural buildings, marinas, racecourse, golf courses, and luxury shops. It attracts thousands of tourists each year and is regularly visited by numerous celebrities from film, television, and fashion, as well as by people from the economic and political worlds.

Every year in September, the American Film Festival takes place in the city. It's not as important as Cannes, but the festival prides itself on attracting movie stars without the trappings of its Mediterranean rival.

Next, we'll head to Trouville Beach, next to Deauville, located next to each other, separated by a river. They are the two closest beaches to the capital.
