Excursion to Huacachina and Ballestas Islands

Embark on a unique experience that combines the thrill of the Huacachina dunes and the natural beauty of the Ballestas Islands.

From Lima, we head south to the city of Pisco, where we will visit the Ballestas Islands. At the port of Chaco, we will embark and begin our boat trip to the Ballestas Islands, where we can admire the El Candelabro geoglyph, the rock formations that make up the Ballestas Islands, the sea lions, and see a great diversity of birds such as the Humboldt penguin, boobies, tanagers, pelicans, guanayes, red-headed vultures, and many other birds.

Then we travel for another hour until we reach Ica, where we will visit a winery and taste wines, as well as enjoy breathtaking landscapes, including the Huacachina Lagoon, surrounded by immense dunes.

We will also see the mermaid monument of Huacachina and the local craft center.

In Huacachina, we will practice the adventure sport of sandboarding and go buggy riding in the Ica desert in the late afternoon.
