We will begin by picking you up from your accommodation and heading towards the Sillar Route, a tourist route full of history and living culture, where you will visit quarries and areas where sillar was originally extracted. The first stop will be at the Añashuayco Quarry, which we will reach in approximately 45 minutes. Currently in During this operation, the stonemasons work intensely from very early in the morning. Here, we can admire an immense canyon with cliffs (ignimbrite walls) several meters high, formed by the extraction process to create the ashlar blocks. At this point, we will tell the story of the ashlar, its production, and its traditional uses. In this quarry, you can see a mega-sculpture of the Church of the Society of Jesus, made by the stonemasons themselves. We can also visit some of them so they can explain their daily work and show us how we can experience cutting one of their stone blocks. Next, we will head to the Quebrada de Culebrillas, located 30 minutes from Añashuayco. At this point, we will walk for approximately 20 minutes inside the small canyon formed by the passage of water. The canyon has walls 15 to 20 meters high. As we enter, the canyon walls increase in height. At the end of the walk, we will observe rock paintings made by the Wari culture more than a thousand years ago. Before returning to the city, we will observe the Apachetas, rock formations stacked one on top of the other. Second day: After breakfast at 3 am, we will begin the climb to the summit slowly for about six hours to the summit at 5,825 meters. From here, you can see the Chachani and Pichu Pichu volcanoes, the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, and a beautiful panoramic view of the city of Arequipa. After observing the landscape, resting and taking photos, we will begin the return to base camp, with the return being fun and easy. From there, we head towards Cruz del Condor, where we will enjoy the majestic flight of the condors for approximately an hour. We set off towards Cabanaconde, located at 3,200 meters above sea level, where we prepare for our hike through the Pampa San Miguel. We then head towards San Juan de Chuccho, where we&#39;ll cross a suspension bridge and enjoy its wonderful scenery. Our hike will last approximately 3 to 4 hours. We&#39;ll arrive at the village, have lunch, and have the afternoon free. In the evening, we&#39;ll have dinner and spend the night in the bungalows. Day 2: ITINERARY - DAY TWO The next day we had breakfast and continued our walk passing through the villages of Cosñirhua and Malata to reach the Sangalle Oasis after a 2-hour walk. Day 3: ITINERARY - THIRD DAY Having agreed with the guide in advance, we got up at 5am to begin our walk to Cabanaconde, about 3 hours. We will be able to walk along the viewpoint and observe them in flight. We will continue by vehicle through Choquetico, Maca, and Antahuilque, a viewpoint from where we can appreciate the Colca Valley in all its splendor and the pre-Inca terraces that are still used today for the cultivation of grains and other crops. Continuing our tour, we will arrive at the Chacapi hot springs to relax for an hour. Afterwards, we will return to Chivay, where we will stop for lunch at a tourist restaurant. Following this, we will board our vehicle to begin the return trip to Arequipa, but not before making several stops at the Mirador de los Volcanes (Volcano Viewpoint), located 4,800 meters above sea level, offering privileged views of the volcanoes surrounding the area. Similarly, we will stop at the Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve, a wetland area where you can see vicuñas and alpacas. After that, we will not stop until we reach the center of Arequipa, where our tour ends.

Trip to the Colca Canyon

A tour that offers beautiful scenery and a visit to the Salinas Lagoon, which forms a spectacular body of water during the rainy season. We begin with hotel pick-up in the city center. We start our tour to Laguna de Salinas with several stops. Our first visit will be to the Mirador de los Volcanes (Volcano Viewpoint) in the Chiguata district, which takes approximately 45 minutes to reach. From there, we can observe our iconic volcanoes and take photos. Later, we will arrive in the town of Chiguata and visit the main square, where the traditional Church of the Holy Spirit is located. Afterwards, we will enjoy a traditional local breakfast. We will continue our journey, approximately one hour later, with a stop at Alto Simbral (4,200 m), where we can observe local plants such as Queñua, Yareta, Tola, and many more. Continuing our tour, we will arrive at Laguna de Salinas, where we will stay for 1 to 1.5 hours, making several stops to observe flamingos, parihuanas, and water mirrors (January to March), as well as vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas (year-round). During the dry season (April to December), we will visit the salt extraction centers, where imagination is essential for taking spectacular photos. We will begin our journey back to the city of Arequipa. We will arrive in the city and be dropped off near the Plaza de Armas.
