During this tour, you'll have the opportunity to visit the largest and best-known Czech spa (its German name is Carlsbad). The founding of this village dates back to Emperor Charles IV in 1358, when he built a hunting lodge here. There are 12 famous springs with a temperature of around 72°C, the most famous being Vridlo.
Karlovy Vary is also famous for its local porcelain and glassmaking industry. These products are displayed in a special exhibition and sold in specialized shops. The spa has been visited by many rulers and artists, including Goethe, Chateaubriand, Chopin, Beethoven, Brahms, and Dvorak. We'll provide time for lunch (included). You'll also visit the museum and the Moser glass shop.
