The Thibon family arrived in Argentina in 1935, originally from Ardêche, France, where they dedicated themselves to grape growing. In 1938, they opened this establishment as a place to sell roasted and ground coffee.
Café Thibon, with its unique aromas and flavors, was accepted and embraced by its valued customers. Later, gourmet products, wines, champagne, and select liqueurs were added.
It is currently managed by the well-known bar 'El Gato Negro', which has incorporated its coffees, teas and spices to continue accompanying the growth of this great place, an icon of Buenos Aires culture.

HOT SAVORY SNACK CHOICE of one per person from the following options: Bruschetta on sourdough bread:
- Vegetarian: Caramelized onion, parmesan, zucchini, eggplant, arugula and seasoned mayonnaise.
- Caprese: Mozzarella, roasted tomatoes, basil, olive oil and pesto.
PASTRY One portion per person to choose from the counter display (check with the waiter for available options)
HOT DRINK: Tea or coffee with milk, one per person from the following options: Black Tea Blends: spices, chocolate with orange, roses, chai, chocolate with dulce de leche, vanilla and cinnamon, rosehip and hibiscus, blueberry with apple, and red fruits. Green Tea Blends: jasmine, tangerine, and orange, mint, orange, and ginger. Red Tea Blend: lemon and orange. Blue Tea Blends: with hibiscus and orange, lemon, and ginger.
A COLD DRINK Freshly squeezed orange juice or lemonade with fresh ginger (one per person)
