Moreno Spirit (Optional tour of Perito Moreno Glacier National Park) El Calafate

Our experience begins with a one-hour boat trip in front of the imposing North Face of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Departure is from Puerto Moreno, navigating through the Canal de los Témpanos. During the journey, you will be able to admire the enormous height and extent of the glacier, with the chance to witness the spectacular calving of ice blocks into the water.

After the boat trip, we proceed to the upper parking area of ​​the glacier, where the guides will take us to the first observation deck. At this point, a detailed map of the walkways will be presented, along with explanations about the phenomenon of glacial calving, the characteristics of glaciers, and the flora and fauna of the region.

We will have until 2 PM to explore the walkways if we choose to participate in the Moreno Spirit boat tour, or until 3 PM for those who do not take the boat tour. For those who choose the boat tour, the meeting point will be at 2 PM in the snack area of ​​the upper parking lot. From there, the guides will accompany us to the vehicle that will take us back to Puerto Moreno, where we can present our vouchers or purchase tickets.

Visitors who do not participate in the boat tour must return to the upper parking lot by 3:15 PM. Departure for El Calafate is scheduled for 3:30 PM.
