On this tour we will visit the historic city of Braga, one of the oldest religious cities in the world, famous for its grand sanctuaries.
We will visit the Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary and its famous staircase that narrates the sacred path, where we will descend to the center of Braga where we will take a guided walking tour of the center.
We will admire the exterior of emblematic monuments such as the old Archbishop's Palace, the Arco da Porta Nova, the Santa Bárbara garden, the Chafariz dos Castelos and visit the Sé Cathedral, the oldest in the country.
After free time where we can opt for a delicious lunch (optional), the tour continues towards Guimarães, the birthplace of Portugal, where we will visit its magnificent historic center declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and visit Guimarães Castle before returning to Porto.
