Today, the Venice Boardwalk is a popular spot for recreation and exercise. Home to over 100 street performers, artists, and vendors who perform on stage or sell their crafts on the sidewalk, Venice Beach offers endless entertainment for visitors.

Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills is a city located south of Los Angeles known for its luxurious climate and mountainous geography. It is also home to many famous tourist attractions.

Founded in 1914, Beverly Hills was built around a large reservoir called McCadden Place. The water from the reservoir was primarily used as a source of irrigation for agriculture, as well as providing drinking water for a nearby city.

However, as the population grew in the area, it became clear that there were not enough resources to meet the needs of the area. Beverly Hills became one of the wealthiest areas in all of California due to its beautiful landscapes and the rich history embedded in its founding.

Downtown

Downtown Los Angeles is a popular area for business, entertainment, and living. It has become the hottest place in the city over the past few decades. There are many reasons why this neighborhood has become so attractive to locals and tourists alike. DTLA is a central location in Los Angeles, which makes it very easy to get around and explore other neighborhoods there.

Firstly, Downtown has restaurants and bars that are open late into the night any day of the week. Secondly, since Downtown is an urban area, you can find many spots around the city that offer stunning views of the city skyline.

Hollywood

Hollywood is a very diverse neighborhood in Los Angeles, as it is home to people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and religions. However, visitors to the area are drawn to Hollywood primarily because of its mountainous geography, which provides beautiful views of the famous Hollywood sign and all of its movie studios.

In addition, tourists can meet many stars and celebrities as they walk the streets of the area, or visit popular landmarks such as the Ivy on Vine restaurant or The Grove shopping mall. The area has been significant since 1887 and became even more important after the opening of the Paramount Pictures film studio on Sunset Boulevard in 1912.

Sunset Strip

Sunset Strip is one of the most famous neighborhoods in Los Angeles and has a long history, as it was where the Hollywood film industry grew to be what it is today.

The Sunset Strip unofficially began in 1915, when a local real estate developer built the Hollywood Hotel (just south of what is now Vine Street). The Hollywood Hotel nightclub hosted many celebrities, including John Lennon, Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra, before closing in 1964. The club's marquee was the place where aspiring singers would come to sing for the society pages of the LA Times.
